Unsecure chicken perches

Naughty naughty Annie has esacped twice today anyway its rather cold so I bought her in the kitchen for a chat cuddle and whilst im at it a quick health check, we quite enjoyed ourselves although both myself and Annie were very dissappointed that the 'unknown' call was in fact a pre recorded message, Annie was really in a chatty mood too

 

Whilst inside she did seem to enojy sitting on the airer shame it wasnt warm enough for her to have had a 'wash' she really isnt very white at the moment

Looking very much at home! Just a query do they not poop everywhere?One of my madames stuck her beak through open back door yesterday but I shooed her out,I don't think I would mind one coming in but mine never seem to stop pooping(I don't think I'm overly house proud having 12muddy paws all over the place at the moment)do different feeds produce varying amounts of droppings?

She wasnt in long enough to poop just long enough for a cuddle and a photo, to be honest I usually sit in their run have a chat, cuddle and all 7 get a quick check over but its bittlerley cold out so I thought why not just for a few minutes, I wanted to bring them in when we had the snow but hubby said NO way was I to do so

I also have muddy paws to only 8 (2 cats) who always know when that floor has been mopped, added with the 3 kids and hubby who also have the same powers too

I'm sure Mabel one of my Pekins wishes she was a house chicken!

She's visited Uni for a few weeks so we had a chicken living with us in Halls in 1st year and at my house last year

Oh she looks so sweet! Ever so slightly imperious, as if she is about to do a cookery chat show and tell everyone how to make chicken porridge

Of all the 7 girls she is the one that has a cerain look about her almost as if she knows something and that if she told you it would blow your world away something almost like she knows how to lay an golden egg
