OMG ,what a horror!

My worst slug experience was treading on one barefoot first thing in the morning a couple of years ago.

It was one of those big grey ones with the orange frilly underneath bit, & it still sends shivers down my spine thinking about it *shudder,shudder*

I'm still shuddering from the barefoot bit :shock:

I once touched a slug that had crawled just inside the opening of the glug

I could see something and tried to brush it off. :vom:

I fed a huge one to the chickens and they ran over, examined it and walked off in distain. :roll:

Oh, your stories have just reminded me of something.

 

When I was sixteen (Ahhh, to be 16 again eh?.... :think: ) well, anyway when I was 16 and on my way to my VERY 1st day of work after leaving school I accidently stood on a big fat slug on the way to catch the bus, I had no choice but to turn up to my new employer with slug guts on my skirt..... :vom:

I've just taken Lesleys tip and cut a slug in half with a pair of scissors.

 

It was absolutely hideous....gallons of black yukky stuff oozed out. It was like an episode of Star Trek. :vom: :vom:

 

I feel quite queasy!

 

I think I prefer the salt (and resulting slime) method! :shock::vom::vom:

i went down to see the girls a few minutes ago and there was a slug in their run, i tried to get them to eat it but they weren't interested, so i decided to kick it out of the run. it got caught in the weldmesh and when i kicked it again it popped open and all of it's guts came out :vom: , the girls ran for it and pulled out long strings of yucky slug :vom::vom::vom: .

maybe now they have been converted :D
