Finally - some pictures of Archie and Molly, and also one of Max - who died earlier this year.

Apologies if this doesn't work - it's the first time I've tried to add pictures!

Thanks for all your nice comments. I, too, like black cats - and ones with white paws and noses (I don't mind what colour/pattern the rest of them is!).

Archie scoffed his raw breakfast - it barely touched the sides as it went down - and he left his bowl gleaming  Molly had hers mixed in with cat food - went down much better this time so we'll gradually increase the proportion of raw in her meals over the next few days and see how she does with that.

I haven't tried making my own yet - we have a Natural Instinct supplier quite close by it turns out so I'm taking the easy route for now!

Molly and Archie are still doing well with their raw food - and Archie is being castrated tomorrow! He's still a bit smaller than the vets would like but Molly's showing some signs she might be gearing up for her first 'heat' so, since she's still the smaller of the two (they're still a bit light for their age but catching up well) Archie's being done first. Poor lad - he's going to be miserable tomorrow, in a strange place and no Molly to keep him company :(

Archie has returned home full of beans (and minus certain bits of course  ). He's supposed to be kept quiet and on a light diet  - well, so far, he's tried mugging the rabbit for her treat ball (we put a stop to that - high fibre rabbit food and kitten guts don't mix :vom: ), has worked out how to get the kitchen bin to open (it's a touch lid :? ) and has had several helpings of fish, alongside the various bits and pieces he scavenged from the bin  He's also had a swing from the curtains and has been racing round the living room with Molly in hot pursuit. Last I saw of him he was polishing Molly's bowl for her (she'd already cleaned it very thoroughly herself)!

I did feel sad leaving him this morning - he looked so tiny beside all the other 'bruisers' in for neutering - they were all around the same age but Archie was by far the smallest. I'm really glad we can now wait a few weeks more before having Molly done - she's not even 2kg yet (but supposedly nearly 23 weeks).
