lisa33
I know what you mean. It really brings it home when you see things like this. May the future days be dry and sunny for all.
Cate in NZ
Amazing scenes, thanks for the photos Martin. I'm so glad all the water has gone now. There's going to be one heck of a clean up operation needed after all that. Good to know that you're safe though, and that your home's no longer threatened by the flood waters. The Dogmother
Good pictures Martin, I especially like the one of Sean and the dog. Please wish him happy birthday from me.
Prongs
Some great photography there Martin! My family and I were lucky, we live at the other end of town so we only got puddles! It's lucky that your house is higher up, else it would of been up to YOUR letterbox as well!
Mrs Frugal
Wow, Martin. Amazing photographs. I'm really impressed with the subjects you took such as the shop, the chap swinging his legs out of the pub window and the little boy and dog peering over the wooden barrier. Those are things you'll probably forget in the future when you look back on what's happened so well done. Very good photos indeed.
Kathy C
I am glad to hear you, your family and animals are safe. A personal description like yours, Martin, illustrates the impact of this situation far better than any news report does.
pepe
Hi Martin! Just catching up with everything, having just got computer sorted after our move. So sorry to hear of the floods, saw it on the news, but seeing your house and town sort of makes it more real, if you know what I mean I hope all gets sorted soon, and this boomin rain stops although its sunny today
