gavclojak
Please excuse my indulgence but I have only just learnt how to upload photos and as you have helped me out so much I thought you wouldn't mind me boring you with a few photos of my lovely girls....just to show you what all the fuss has been about:). http://i1328.photobucket.com/albums/w530/LisaFrater/image_zps848c5eee.jpg' alt='image_zps848c5eee.jpg'>g]
jackian
Oh they are lovely You are doing something right as they look so fluffy and well for ex batts . I love the close up photos especially the dust bath ones .
redsunset
Always love seeing ex-batts! What a fab set-up they have with lots of interest and they look in pretty good shape, and seem to be adapting to normal chicken life quite happily. Lovely dogs too! auntielizzie
Wow that really is an amazing set up Those chickens really landed on their feet when they got picked by you It's almost as if you were a chicken in a previous life as their every need seems to be catered for Lucky you must have lots of space in your garden to give over to them (unless you've only left yourself with a piece of garden the size of a handkerchief ). counturchickens
What lovely pics and set up!
gavclojak
LOL...they have more space than us! We live in a terraced house in not so rural Bromley, but they seem to like it, they never refuse a bit of FR in my part of the garden, as they are right now!!! Thanks everyone for your positive comments. I sacrificed a mulberry bayswater on eBay to go toward the cost though:((
paulad
I dont even know what. A mukberry baywater is !
gavclojak
Haha it's a ridiculously expensive handbag that I sold secondhand after having it for three years for £500.....happy days for the girls:)
paulad
Thought it was a handbag !! Bloody hell £500 - defo rather have the chucks !
gavclojak
I know, that was in my previous incarnation!!
redsunset
That made me laugh! Whilst I never spent quite that amount on a handbag I used to be a Burberry bag girl and spent a LOT of money on them. Would never dream of that now. Deffo rather a hen house and new chooks! Oops can't have any more as now at capacity but still.......
LottyJ1
Your set up is fab! lLucky ladies who all look very happy
gavclojak
gee, thanks for the great comments. the girls are real diva's...especially hen solo who loves nothing more that running around flapping her featherless wings....she is coming on well, when she first came home she was bald all along her back, featherless wings and a very bald bottom(how embarrassing ) what she lacks in feathers she makes up for in personality. i Love princess layer who had a large red floppy wattle and is the busiest of hens and Betty boo who was without doubt the underling is now a fully fledged member of the diva club. i wish i could work out how to post actual pictures though!!
