sparkysmum
Had a place last year but deferred due to serious lack of organisation (couldn't work out how to get to the start!! So when OH got a place in the ballot we just had to get organised and get training. Well that was the theory..... It's now just over 2 weeks away and unless one of us is struck down we will be at the start Whether or not I get to the finish will be another story. We have decided to try to raise a few £'s for charity too and have chosen to raise funds for Macmillan Nurses as it was hospice nurses who helped Simons Mum and Dad before he passed away just last week. We would be thrilled if you would like to donate thro Just Giving please see link below. http://www.justgiving.com/owner-email/pleasesponsor/Allison-and-Simon-Jones or text SIAL52 to 70070 followed by the amount you would like to donate. JustGiving sends your donation straight to Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you, Alli xx Edited to add text details Edited April 14, 2014 by Guest
Ain't Nobody Here
So sorry to hear about Simon's dad. Please pass on my condolences. Wow, you brave pair . I'm sure that'll make a world of difference, doing it together . Wish I could be at the end for you like you both were for my last half marathon (no, I haven't done one since ) but I'll be thinking of you during the whole event . Donation made . sparkysmum
Thank you sooo much, ANH, you have kicked off our fundraising and is so appreciated. Simon has trained hard but my long runs have often been long walks with short jogs to break it up. I'm just taking the view that getting round will be challenge enough. I could never, in my wildest imaginings do a half marathon in your time or even begin to contemplate hills Ax

I just want to finish and get my medal ......... and then live on the experience for ever Alli xx Text SIAL52£amount to 70070 to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support Ax
Ain't Nobody Here
20 miles . You can't possibly be blobby . I hope you manage to enjoy at least part of it - it's great that you have a running partner, that will surely be the best incentive for you each to keep going. I am in awe .
