Richard
Well! We've been out and bought some Slogs. We've been living in our Crocs (mine; blue, OH; yellow) and we decided we would buy some for our son and his partner when they come to visit (he never brings any appropriate clothes and she doesn't really 'do' the rural life - yet). And we saw these, made in Lincolnshire (Horncastle) so decided that must buy British rather than American apart from the fact that I saw a photo of George Dublya in a pair of Crocs ... with socks, which really put me off. So, there you have it .... Anyone have experience of Slogs?
Couperwife
never seen them before (i dont think) but they look pretty good what is the price comparison. I like the idea of going british - rather than adding those miles on
Richard
We paid, I think, about £18 or £19 a pair for the Slogs. I seem to remember the Crocs being around £30 each pair (bought online).

Richard
Where can we buy them from Richard? I got mine from Fakenham garden centre - but it looks like I should have gone to Sainsburys!
Lesley
I was going to say I'll be round for coffee then Richard - it's a long trip to Norfolk - but I'll just go to Sainsburys in Kenilworth instead

The Dogmother
Hmmm, they only do the ladies ones in white, powder blue or pink... not my colours....
ubereglu
I think I prefer normal crocs to them... However most of the fake crocs I've seen have a very strong rubbery smell, that definitely puts me of buying a pair.
The Dogmother
The fake ones tend to be made of a harder material too Liz

Theres a fake croc stall in Reading & you can really smell it. The fakes are not made of Crocslite, so as Clare says they are not as spongy, don't mould to your feet & don't prevent smelly feet either. I wouldn't buy fakes anyhow - I just don't think its right that they have been ripped off so
