patsylabrador
Because we live close to Heathrow we spend a fair amount of time meeting and dropping off our kids there. I noticed the hired drivers boards that they use to identify themselves to travellers. So a couple of years ago I started making my own versions. This is my most recent. MS went to Universal Studios fright night in LA so I thought I'd make a Halloween one. I hope you like my nod to The Scream. I think it might embarrass them slightly but heyho it makes me happy. soapdragon
Very artistic I always wanted to be greeted with someone holding up my name. Especially if they are in uniform, with a peaked cap and a limo waiting, champagne on ice etc (I can dream, can't I ) Let us know how they react - its really quite scary! chickencam
I agree we need photos of his face We were greeted by our taxi driver at Edinburgh airport when we did our day trip to St Andrews earlier this year and he had a board with our surname on. All the way up there my. OH kept saying I hope he has a board with our name on, I hadn't thought to ask but he came up trumps anyway. If anyone ever wants an interesting tour with a lovely taxi driver in Edinburgh, give http://edinburghcabtours.co.uk a try. We have used him twice now and he is so knowledgable and friendly.
