bluekarin
I've just heard about the accident in Glasgow where a bin lorry ran over several people, killing 6. I hope no Omlet members and their families are affected by this, as I know there are a few on here who live north of the border. My thoughts are with those families and friends affected
Groovychook
What an awful tragedy It seems so cruel to have happened after the tragic helicopter crash in Glasgow last Christmas. Thinking of everyone involved... hope everyone is safe too
Egluntyne
An awful tragedy. How terrible that Glasgow should have to deal with a second major incident in such a short space of time.

bluekarin
I forgot about the helicopter crash last year Wonder what happened to the driver of the truck for this to happen? Hope none of the injured are too seriously hurt.
Ain't Nobody Here
Such a horrible tragedy. No news yet about the 9 injured. It's just awful for all their family and friends and everyone who witnessed it.
soapdragon
So sad for all concerned and, tho terrible at any time, seems particularly cruel at this time of year.
Ain't Nobody Here
An 18 year old girl along with her grandparents among the dead. Her mother was with them but survived. Also a primary school teacher. Such a senseless waste of lives .

Cat tails
A bin lorry just ran over two people in Holland... Both didn't survive... There also have been three car incidents in France this week, where drivers deliberately drove into groups of people.
Ain't Nobody Here
How awful, I hadn't heard that . I'm very sad to discover that I know the mother of the Edinburgh woman who died . We used to meet in the woods regularly, walking our dogs and I saw her only a few weeks ago in the Post Office and had a lovely chat with her . sparkysmum
All so sad, ANH. It seems to make tragedy even worse when you have a personal connection with one of the bereaved. Thinking of you. Ax
