I have just got two new girls a gold and a silver laced Wyandotte. They are adorable,they are only 9 weeks, cheeping away. I feel a bit of a twit, I got a text from girl I had got my Mille Fleur Pekins from asking if I was interested, I then sent OH to collect and didn't realise how tiny they would be ( they are also bantams )Question, at this age are they def girls??? And can they be shut in Go just the two,will they be warm enough? Can they be safely left until morning without food or water. Many thanks.

Ooh you could have 2 lads I have no idea when you can sex them - I am sure someone will know.

They will be fine in the go, but take the roosting bars out and fill it with bedding. No idea about sexing them though, perhaps the girl you got them from might know

Any chance of a pic I breed Columbian wyandottes last year was my first year with this group I'm very good at sexing but found these some what tricky lol I think they were 14 weeks before I made my mind up ha ha leanne

I think you may have to wait a bit longer I'm sure they are both girls but the silverlaced has a bit of Red on her comb redwing will be along at some point she breeds dottes
