The main reason was to check out the poppy dedicated to my FIL who was a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF. MIL is not well enough to do that so we did. I'm very pleased, it was nice to do and felt good. We also checked out Central London, which was just as I like it. Overcast and cosy but utter chaos. Very busy and violent day for the police and their poor, lovely horses. Sirens and helicopters buzzing, I felt right at home. We popped into Fortnums and Hamleys because why not and spent too much and I saw the pelicans in St James Park. I hope the sideshow works mainly because it's taken me ages to find a way of posting on this forum (why is it so difficult on here?) patsylabrador Posted December 10, 2015 Author Share Posted December 10, 2015 Did a Christmas trip in London today with OH. Lots of walking and buses and had lunch at Wahaca on the South bank. I loved the Disney tree at St Pancras. It was a thoroughly nice day and as you can see Covent Garden was looking very pretty.
