Valkyrie
Much to their disgust though - OH and I have been able to sort out the garden where they normally roam. I've trimmed their clubhouse (weeping cotoneaster) to a mini skirt instead of a maxi. The sparrows are also a little annoyed. But the blackbirds and robins have kept me company. Finally after many years we've tackled an area that when I start to clear the weeds I get fat feather dusters on the fork, refilling planting holes or making a little newly removed weed hole bigger! It's bliss!!!! Apart from the audience in the back row that whinge!
Daphne
Well done! Its the right time of year isn't it, to get to grips with things, with the promise of better weather to come
Valkyrie
I have to time it right - heavy clay turns to concrete if I don't! It now needs a layer of mulch and a job done.
Cat tails
Confining my lot to their new jail has been a blessing too! I can actually move around, without stepping in a poo all the time. Put my washing out, without getting poo on it. Have plants in pots or borders without then trimming them...
Valkyrie
It also gives the garden a bit of a rest. The grass looks great - if a little on the long side. I stretched out the run a bit further to reach their club house - a welcome treat as it was shady and the grass was nice and cool for them.
