buffie
I can't believe we'll have 11, hoped for a few ex batteries but I missed the boat and they had gone, great they all had homes of course. I want to bring my girls out myself so we'll get them at a rescue some time. BBx

BBx That would be wonderful, to actually rescue the girls you then take home, and watch them settle in and thrive karen x

buffie
Brilliant news Buff, full sized or banties? Can't wait to see them. Full sized Clare and your RIR did inspire the decision I have always wnanted one and my dad kept saying "we had a RIR", so you can't have just one and ...well now have 3 coming. Mikey is now not sure why he didn't want more and is fully behind it.... Result! BBxx
Lesley
Excellent news Buffie - I'm glad Mikey is happy about it. Have a great weekend

chocchick
so you can't have just one and ...well now have 3 coming. Mikey is now not sure why he didn't want more and is fully behind it.... Result! BBxx You can't just have one... I aspire to this reaction from OH What a good choice, I have 2 of those breeds Would love to see pictures. My RIR is not the best bred and has grey "smutting" under the feathers, according to Practical Poultry it should be chestnut "fluff" under the feathers. She's quite fat and it's funny to watch her run. The Welsummer is a bit neurotic though gorgeous looking and very soft and cuddly.
