Snowy
Well, half way through the week - still 4 days to go! Keep those bids coming in and think of all those battery hens that will have a better life thanks to you! I'm doing quite well on the bribes front as well - jam, pens, crabapples, quail eggs (wouldn't mind some plums though ... )

Lesley
- yes, even though I sacrificed one teatowel and sprayed it with that stuff to stop dogs chewing - I think she liks the taste
Louise
She just knows it winds you up and she can have a chase me game round the fireplace
Snowy
....how about a bed eating, teatowel stealing, dog? Surely you don't mean that lovable little dog of yours? I could be persuaded, but Carl would never forgive me! (neither would my OH come to think of it )
Dancing Gal
What variety of bird is it that is bred for battery hens?
Jules.
Jethro the cat is very lovable- he sits on your knee if you are still longer than 20 seconds would you like him?
Snowy
Jethro the cat is very lovable- he sits on your knee if you are still longer than 20 seconds would you like him? I'd love him Jules but I'm allergic to cats! Thanks anyway! Dancing Gal - I think battery hens must be similar to our gingernuts from omlet; a cross between the RIR and light sussex; as they can be sexed at hatching and lay like troopers! Lesley
She just knows it winds you up and she can have a chase me game round the fireplace Not me! - I refuse to give her the attention. I walk away and then return with a water squirter. I'm never going to beat her at "chase me round the fireplace" I must have a look down the back of the sofa and see if I have enough to make a bid on the bag
Snowy
Only 27 hours left to bid! If you don't do it now, you never will. Don't forget, this bag is unique - there will never be another just like this! AND it's your opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of those hard working battery girls! (I hate bigging up my own work, but anything for the BHWT! )
