I did the running round the garden dance, the neighbours already know that I am nutty so don't worry.

Lesley-Jean
That is the beauty of the eglu. Easy to clean and you don't really NEED to do it that often. A blue egg must be fabulous Nicola. Well done Bunty

chocchick
I hate to be a goody two shoes but being a weather watcher I knew it would rain today so cleaned them out yesterday and did there dust baths today need a halo emoticon! Can you tell I don't have children I wonder BBx I can be smug too Buffie. I cleaned out the eglu before my friend's 3-year-old came to visit yesterday. She has been looking forward to it "CHICKENS!" and liked Beth as I picked her up to stroke and did a hugging Beth gesture. She chased the chickens round the garden and was fascinated by the opening/closing action of the eglu door, but then so was Trinny who stood by to watch. I don't think I am on the same scale of cleaning (all hail Buffie) as I have never done their muddy little feet or beaks I am working on the thorough clean every 4-6 weeks principle, and emptying droppings tray weekly. Well done Bunty on the blue -is there a picture?
