this is my first poll... ever!! i can be so slow...

 

i'm a bit bored so thought i would find out if any one else likes these books.

 

i am reading the Tom Holt ones at the mo and think they are really good!... if not a bit rude!

Well, I'm afraid I'm in the 'never heard any of the above' category. It is unusual for me, as I used to be a book worm.

 

So - what about you L-S? Which are your faves and why? You might convince me to go out and buy one

I need to vote other. My sons have read and enjoyed the artemis fowl books but I haven't read any of the books on your list.

Well my sister loves the Tom Holt books and I really like Jacqueline Wilson and most of the Harry Potter books.

 

I also love the Agatha Raisin books, by M.C. Beaton as they are comical murder mysteries and very silly!

i love harry potter so much!!

been addicted to those books since i was 10 and theyre just the greatest thing ever in my opinion. hence my choocks names. the artemis fowl books are also amazing1 i had a rat called artemis!

 

Another series that i thought was very good was his dark materials series. read it before the movie comes out, i implore you. theyre just too good.

I love & adore books & have really enjoyed Harry Potter & Artemis Fowl, as well as the His Dark Materials series, which if you have not read yet you must SOON as the first movie is out shortly & is going to be great

 

As BOTA says, they are just as good as the others & if you like Potter & Fowl, & know you will enjoy these too

oo i ahvent seen that EC book before but ive read the whish list by him which is a brilliant book. he has some really cool views on heaven and hell.

 

ill have to look those two up.

I've loved the harry books since they first came out, but I voted for Artemis as I only discovered him recently - excellent books (my sons though, not mine )

Those & the Harry Potters are probably the only ones we would ever HAVE to buy when they first come out in hardback
