Alis girls
Love em or hate em its that time of year again. I love the Waitrose one where they have a speeded up version of Jingle bells so they can get to the chocolate mince pies. I like the Boots one too. Elton Johns as much as I like him as a musician I dont get it. Anyone got a favourite?
Cat tails
Have only seen the Iceland one on this side of the pond. (BBC doesn’t do commercials...) Will have to google the others.
Cat tails
I do quite like the Sainsbury one and think the John Lewis one with Elton John is somehow quite sweet and touching. He is not my favourite musician, but the message is strong.
Grandmashazzie
Wish I could do the clicky link business. The best I have seen is the tear jerking £50 Christmas ad. Big retails take note, you don’t need to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds. If you google it,it will come up.

soapdragon
I have to admit that there are no ads that have really 'done it' for me this year. All a bit disappointing really - bah humbug! Usually there is at least one outstanding one but, for me, not this time round. Or maybe I'm just getting old, cynical and jaded
Cat tails
There is a very lovely dutch one:
Grandmashazzie
Aw, that’s lovely Cats Tails. I was just thinking of my mum today. Christmas as you get older changes, too many empty seats.

Luvachicken
I was going to suggest the KFC advert but wasn't sure how well it would go down being about eating chicken. I really like the hedgehog advert though Cat tails.

Alis girls
Love the one with the mum and daughter working together. I assume she's a ghost. Yes I agree too many empty seats. Friends become family.
Valkyrie
These are the only two ads I've seen! I haven't even heard Noddy Holder - that's a plus! Love both ads though, even if one was sad and spooky in a nice way.
soapdragon
Mrs Fussy has found one that she does like! The Waitrose one where they all set off down the drive for a bracing, snowy Boxing Day walk only to turn round at the gate and head back inside for something delicious, sweet and squidgy (from Waitrose, of course!) whilst remarking on what a great walk they have had and how they have worked up an appetite! Valkyrie
What! Do they not have chickens and therefore trudge down the garden in the wind, rain and mud? Now that would work up an appetite!😅

I think all of the Waitrose adverts have been quite funny - singing their Christmas carols as fast as possible to get to the mince pies and then the charades one they have sped up too and guess the first word which is guessed correctly - not. Bit disappointed though that the passion fruit and raspberry pavlova has all sold out ...... yes, I know I could make my own but ................ soapdragon
Ohh, didn't see the carols one but laughed at the switching on the lights one where the mayoress(?) hit the button on the count of 7 to get to the (Waitrose) canapes as quickly as poss! A girl after my own heart
