Cinnamon
I didn't see the show I think it's a bit rotten to put her in and then take her out. What did she sing 'The Hokey Cokey' They didn't put her through then take her out because of her teeth - its because she was pregnant & would have been due during the finals. Just thought I would say,'cos it would be easy to assume it was because of her teeth from this thread. I think they had a very valid point, (although her other half didn't see it quite that way - nice chap!)

Rona
She was on GMTV yesterday morning. Said her OH had calmed down now and understood why they took her off but he was worryingly volatile wasn't he! Very pretty girl, got sleek dark hair now and GMTV make-up had worked their magic on her but she seemed very self-conscious about her teeth and tended to try and keep her top lip over them. Cinnamon
I reckon its only a matter of time until someone offers to sort her teeth out for her
Egluntyne
It'll be a challenge....but a good advert for whoever takes it on. I reckon Simon could pay with the change in his back pocket.

Popcorn
They really made the right decision on her behalf. Oh my life - there is just no way I could even contemplate doing a kareoke night when I first had Stefan, nevermind a full on pop career! She'll be back in the next series I bet. It must be her first baby and so the poor girl will have no idea! I do hope she comes back next year.....she could sing!
Jules.
Couperman, if you have to have your wisdom teeth out have it done under a local anaesthetic- If you have a general the dentist sits on your chest to get extra leverage! Both my bottom teeth are impacted, I had one out at the hospital which took an hour i have put off having the other one out indefinintely. Jules.
I had to have a fortnight off work, & I have a high pain threshold. The tooth that was extracted was lying sideways. i just can't go through that again.

Guest
I'm getting a brace put in soon and I have one milk tooth left and my dentist and his colleague asked if they wanted them too pull it out or me to wobble it out at home. I was like ill wobble it thanks. It was scary they both looked eager to pull it out. I'm wobbling now
Richard
I don't think nice teeth are important to a singer look at shane McGowan from the Pogues, he did alright and he can't sing to well either! Kev.
Richard
Couperman, if you have to have your wisdom teeth out have it done under a local anaesthetic- If you have a general the dentist sits on your chest to get extra leverage! Sorry to disagree with someone on the forum but this is absolute rubbish. If the dentist is willing and able to extract the teeth under local have it done under local - its the safest option. However, if they are impacted to a degree that they need a general anaesthetic in order to be extracted, thats what you need. Dentists don't sit on people's chests whatever - it doesn't work that way. Believe me!
Couperman
I think he wants me to go into hospital cause he knows I bite! I had a deep root filling once and he hadn't quite numbed it enough. He remarked 'Oh I think we'll pop another needle in there, and I'll have one in my hand too!' I would prefer a general as I reckon they will take some shifting as they only just break the surface, and I can't stand the thought of crunching of bone and general mangling with pliers. It reminds of our school dentist 'The White Angel' Not looking forward to it either way, but needs must. Got a dental appointment tomorrow Kev. Kev. Louise
That was how I felt too Kev the thought of 4 teeth which weren't through being hoiked out while I was concious
Couperman
I just made the mistake of looking on the tinternet! There was a story about a bloke who bled to death in his sleep! My last extraction bled for four days and I had to go back to the dentist! I think it was because I was subconsciously fiddling with the wound with my tongue! Oh well might not need to have em out just yet, but they are developing a toffee like texture....not good...but at least they don't hurt yet. Kev. Couperman
The main thing I have against local anesthetic is I hate having to do the wide mouth frog routine whilst the workmen are demolishing my gob. My mouth fills with saliva and I feel like I'm gonna be sick or drown! I don't mind fillings so much. as they are usually quick. It's the till I dislike the most though I just wish I'd listened to my mam and brushed my teeth properly as a kid instead of a quick brush on the front ones to give the right impression. So listen up kids! Brush your teeth properly and you can eat Pork scratchings! and go on x-factor without everyone pointing at you Otherwise you end up with a mush full of lead! Kev. Dancing Gal
Back to the girl on the show - her teeth were truely awful they had clearly been neglected for her whole life. I would be interested to know why because even with the poor dental provision in this country they should not be in that state. She had a very nice voice and it was very good to hear someone singing a country song. But I'm afraid with her teeth she clearly doesn't have the X factor.
