Cat tails
The lavender bird? Looks a lot like a boy... sorry
Lewis
How old? I’d guess boy at this stage but feathers aren’t quite there yet either

soapdragon
Whatever he/she may be...absolultey lovely. Reminds me of Buckbeak! Beautiful colour.
Framsay
Thank you, we are heartbroken she (he) may have to go back. We’re hoping and praying for an egg before a cock-a-doodle-doo! 😭😭 She’s so funny and we love her to bits already! She is a wee bit dominant over the 3 pekins, and we thought she was just being a bossy madam, but now we’re wondering if it’s him keeping the girls in order! 😫
soapdragon
Have you checked feet? A friend had a bantam which, she was SURE was a girl, until 'she' grew spur buds which developed into pretty vicious spurs in due course!
Framsay
Thanks, will have a look and see if I can see anything that looks like spurs may grow! She’s a baby though so maybe not quite yet!
Patricia W
Yes, think it’s a boy. Any chance you can keep him? My first Cockerel was an accident. I thought the neighbours would object but they loved hearing him. So I’ve had a Cockerel, ever since.
mullethunter
Handy for me to see as I have 3 araucana bantam eggs hopefully hatching in a week 🤞🏻
