Cinnamon
Our little Poland cockerel,Indiana began crowing this morning for the first time, despite being shut in the Eglu at the time For a small man he can sure make a whole lot of noise. Not sure if I will be able to hack it in the summer months actually, when the mornings are lighter & the windows are open, but we shall see. The funniest thing is that when he crows, all the hens, the big girls included jst freeze & look at him in complete astonishment

Cinnamon
Luckily I am very rural, with just one elderly deaf neighbour Also,he is not the only cockerel around here - you get a few others going off in the mornings too!

Cinnamon
I reckon he is about 22 weeks, but am not sure. Does anyone know at what age Cockerels mature? He is very handsome indeed - lovely hair & really glossy bright orange feathers

Jools
Afraid not! And if you think he's bad at this time of year, just wait until spring! He's a real cutie though and I'm sure his wives will put up with his attentions (maybe not laying back, but certainly thinking of England)!!!
