Goosey Lucy
Lesley, if you fancy popping in for a cuppa after all that shopping you're more than welcome as is anyone else who wants to come and chat. (I might also pick your brains about chickens ) Lucy
The Dogmother
You'll regret that invitation Lucy - we'll all converge on your place
Goosey Lucy
No worries, usually have cake but also have ironing the size of a mountain and lots of dust on shelves, surfaces. I blame this forum but things were the same before I had the hens! Someone once told me that their children learned to write in the dust in her house so I'm using that as my excuse! That and having to sew a donkey costume for YS role in the Nativity play at school, sewing 10 2.5m valances for tables at the school Christmas Fayre and dealing with my mother who I really wish I didn't have to have anything to do with at all. Heigh ho, the more the merrier! If you want something doing, ask a busy person.
Lesley
Coventry get-together at Ikea- followed by cake at yours then?
The Dogmother
I'm up for it Lesley - need a new corner lamp...when are we meeting?
Snowy
Hey wait for me! I'm up for an Ikea Coventry get together! Just checked the location though - is it really going to be in the city centre? Surely that is a bit impractical? Might be quicker going to Nottingham after all. Is it an easy route from the M69 or is it likely to get snarled up with traffic? At least the Nottingham one is just off the motorway! The Dogmother
Hmm, just checked here and it looks like that's right Snowy A horrid great blue and yellow square in the middle of Cov! They don't mention any spacious parking either It'll be murder to get to
Helly Welly
It says there will be a three storey, 850 space car park as part of the building. Its going to be fun getting a wardrobe into the lift if you park at the top
Goosey Lucy
Claret said It'll be murder to get to Yes so don't go until after the initial hoo-ha, Christmas and Sales periods are over. Lesley said Coventry get-together at Ikea- followed by cake at yours then? Definitely, you're all welcome. Think you might need tea, cake and chooks after a hectic shopping trip. I might even meet you in store! Omlet get together over a bowl of meatballs followed by tea at mine? Lucy
The Dogmother
You're on Lucy!!!! Are you mental? All of us madsters at your place Thanks Helly , must've missed the bit about parking when I was speed-reading

Helen&Lee
Have a lovely shop Cinnamon I had a lovely mooch around the Wednesbury one a couple of weeks ago - as others have said the location is so horrible to get to you have to make the most of it when you finally gather yourself together to go Helen

Goosey Lucy
The Wednesbury store is like Brigadoon - you can see it but can't get to it So true! We've missed the junction whenever we've had to go there! Just go to Nottm now and see the In-Laws. Sometimes we even get to go on our own leaving the kids for quality grandparent time

Goosey Lucy
Rosie nags me all the way round for various things she's seen and just can't live without! That's also me! What is it about tea lights that makes me buy them? We don't even have any holders any more! I just love mooching round the market hall area and have more kitchen things than anyone I know! Cinnamon
We bought all our goodies in the market hall too Clare. I got 16 GORGEOUS new wine glasses...sort of goblet style with a nice chunky stem, plus lots of other bits & pieces too. I found a brilliant make your own Gingerbread house kit for under £2 in the food bit, & some non alcoholic mulled wine for the girls at Christmas. And we are having Swedish meatballs & creamy sauce for supper on Saturday After Ikea we went into London, mooched around Covent Garden, visited Trafalger Square, where its now an offence to feed the pigeons, & had a lovely proper lamb meat kebab in Leicester Square. While we were there people watching Sir iam Mckellan & Gordon Ramsey both walked past (not together!) Gordon was LOVELY It was a lovely day & the Christmas decs looked magical
