Guest
i thought this was going to be a thread about sprouts... mine stay in their run and dash in and out of the coop if it gets too bad. I don't let them out if the weather is too rough.
Egluntyne
Mine were blowing about like tumbleweeds the other day. I decided not to let them out today as it was so windy. I didn't want to risk them injuring themselves.
Laura & CTB
Mine make their own decisions as to whether they are coming out of the run - usually the answer is: raining = no windy = definately not

Emma x I don't worry about them. I leave the gate to their run open and if they want to come out they can. If they want to stay in bed they can. If it rains they stand in a dejected huddle under the cube or the tree. If its windy they stay under the tree. But if they do come out its a laugh as they get blown about all over the place. But, hey, they are grown up animals, they can make a choice ... I also thought it might be a somewhat different thread - and that I might have something to offer in view of my experience ..... Madchook
If I'm around I let mine out as actually, they take better care of themselves than in the run. When they are in they will just stand in the rain and wind and get bedraggled.... they will never go in the house and won't stand under the cube...grrrr. Still, not much I can do about that, they can't be getting too cold! If I let them out they will spend alot of time under the trees and bushes (that is when they are not trying to break into the house through the catflap ) so they keep a bit warmer/dryer (well somtimes, but they also like to have a good mudbath!)
