bronze
For a few years I also helped out at "Circus Skills" taught kids (and adults) juggling, Unicycle & Diablo (though that probably doesn't count ). I used to take circus skills. Only ever got around to actually taking the grade 1 level though. I should have gone on as my ability was higher (then not now)
Omletina Kyckling
I was a primary school teacher but stopped when I moved to Sweden then didn't get back into it when I came back to England. I became a technical administrator but now I've got psoriatic arthritis in my hands so can't work.

Couperman
No, I don't but I am married to someone who does! Teachers generally marry teachers that way "Ooops, word censored!"ody gets bored to death at the Christmas doo, Unless of course you are not a teacher. Me and Harv (a Chelsea fan but I can forgive him for that) were the only Hubbies who weren't teachers at the last social gathering, we were taking bets on how long it would take for the teachers to start talking shop, he won on 14 seconds. I said 25 seconds. Kev.
Guest
LOL Kev - I'm guessing that it took 13 seconds to decide on how much wine to order then?
Janty
Hubby and I are both teachers...he is primary trained and I am secondary although at the moment we both work at the same middle school. We are sort of meeting in the middle. I teach Design Technology and Art to the whole school. Hubby teaches all subjects to his little year 5s. He has told the children that I am his Mum though and that I will be 70 this year. And, of course, they believe him.

Kev. oh my hubbie is not a teacher, he has a building firm. i used to work at a very posh independent school (uni gowns for daily assembly in the cathedral type of school) and he hated school socials because he felt very out of place (mind you sometimes so did i!!!). I agree most teachers do marry teachers as it does take over your life but its sometimes nice to talk about something else. Hubbie is really busy in school holidays because he works on alot of schools so our holidays are never compatable. it is such a rewarding job but very stressful.
