Just been talking to Jan. It IS going to go ahead but the date is still to be arranged so leave a gap in your diaries for mid-August. The venue is sorted. A barn at Broughton Castle (hope I've got that right!) so it's going to be a real barn dance with a band, hog roast, fun and games etc. As they are hiring a venue and all the extras to make it a really great day, we will need to buy tickets but I don't know how much these will be at the moment. Could you post here to let Jan have some idea of how many people are planning to come please? We're coming ! We would love to come. The Broughton Castle site mentions private bookings between 2 and 5pm, so imagine the times will fit in well with travelling. If we can do it, 2 adults 4 children (8-17). I'm already double booked on the 19th but mid August might mean anything from the 12th, 13th, to 21st,...who knows! Still hoping to come somehow, I've been looking forward to it for soooo long, so hope it's the 12th LesleyJean....Broughton Castle is the likely venue.
