Karen & co.
That's brilliant I might try to make one for my youngest sons birthday (got until March to practise ) Karen x
Rolo Rabbit
I used the chicken mould that other people said they got from TKMax and just used a normal 2 egg cake mix. The only problem was (and I tried twice) its head fell off when I took it out of the tin. So I stuck it on again with extra buttercream. Went down very well. Tina C
Wow thatis fantastic - and just the inspiration I needed! Its Layla's 7th birthday on Easter Monday, she would love that cake. I think I will just make a few sponge cakes and 'carve' the basic shape then slap on the buttercream.

argent13uk
Worried me a little too. I cooked my daughter (2 and half) chicken nuggets for the first time since getting the chickens and she was a little confused. but I explained that it wasn't our chicken but that it was from another chicken. She seemed OK with that and finished her lunch (100% chicken nuggets of course!).
Chooks Aloud
Fab cake. I went into the shop to get the tin but couldn't find any!! Karen
The Bantam of the Opera
wow, much better than mine. did they have the rooster tin when you went there? i realyl want the rooster one too because i love my little snapey.
Rolo Rabbit
It was your cake that inspired me Bantam Of the Opera. Yes, they did have a cockrel but I resisted. To those of you who couldn't find the cake tin at TKMax - you really have to search. i even asked an assistant if they had them and she said no but it was hiding away at the back of the shelf. it comes in a greyish box and looks much smaller than I was expecting. The make is called GEFU KUCHENBOSS .Glad I persevered. Hillfamily - I'm afraid it's not my bunny. Ours is very similar and just as cute but he always seems to get red eye when we try to photo him. Makes him look
