Cinnamon
Torchwood was fab this season, wasn't it? Last nights was esecially good. Not keen on JB though - he is a bit clean cut & too handsome for me
One Man Banned
Very excited here about the new Dr Who - funnily enough I never liked Torchwood but really got into it a couple of months ago and now I LOVE it. I'm off to Wales this morning to see my niece and drop some photo's to my mum and meeting up with a friend in Cardiff - and Anita's coming with me so we're off to tour the capital as it's so different these days I found out the other day that the guy who plays Ianto grew up near my aunt's house, went to the same college in Crosskeys as I did (a year after I started) and had a really good opening into acting with help of Lord Kinnock (I know his wife who was also an MEP too) Odd world really A xx
bronze
I'm soooo excited the guy who plays Ianto Gareth David-Lloyd. His names sticks in my head because it has meanings to me

I saw an advert after Torchwood that said 'coming soon' and had Rose, and Martha coming out of some slime Intreging
Guest
Owen is beside himself with excitement over the return of Dr Who! Then just to compound the general state of delirium in the house today, he read that the Dr Who exhibition will be coming up to Glasgow next march - he's already planning his visit now... Basset
My little boy saw an advert for Dr Who tonight and told me he would go to bed early to miss it as it looks scary!! I think I'll have to video it and watch it myself later.
Pookylover
I am such a wicked mother! I haven't told the kids yet and was hoping to send them to bed early but at 9yrs and 8yrs I don't think I will get away with it do you?! Will just have to gag them and hope they don't talk too much! My son loves it (8yrs) Clare x
bronze
Its on at the worst time for me so I have to bide my time and record it. I'm not sure I can be that patient though
Ziggy
OH, myself, DD1 and DD2 are looking at the clock and counting the minutes ... we'll all be watching... DD3 and DD4 are a bit too young Not sure either about the new female part... but I can't resist David Tennant...
redfrock
Torchwood was fab this season, wasn't it?Last nights was esecially good. Not keen on JB though - he is a bit clean cut & too handsome for me Exactly how I feel - I can't be doing with CT and the faces she pulls. I'm recording DrW as we are out tonight. Meanwhile I sobbed my way through the end of Torchwood I'm really looking forward to the next series - I have to admit I tend to watch it more than DrW, although without being a prude I tend to find the sex scenes a bit gratuitous. I'm beginning to think that JB has struck a deal with Russel T Davies so that he gets a sex scene in pretty much every episode . Now if it added to the story line .... (I think I may be getting old )

Chili
Yee Har!! I've just booked my tickets to see the Dr Who exhibition at Earls Court in May. We are there for the day anyway as DD is performing at the Royal Albert Hall Chili xx
Eyren
We thought that Penny the journalist was Martha's sister! After all, Freema Agyeman had a bit-part in Doctor Who before she was cast as Martha. (I also spotted Nikki Amuka-Bird, who was in this season of Torchwood, in the recent "No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency"!). Like Cinnamon I have an aversion to CT, but she's not been too bad so far - this episode played to her comic strengths, admittedly. The scary thing is how much she looks like Sarah-Jane in some BBC publicity shots!
Ziggy
I thought that too about the resemblance with Sarah-Jane, and the journalist looking just like Martha's sister... We watched it all together, even DD3 and DD4 joined us, and DD4 just LOVED those little creatures... she was pointing wildly at the tv, grinning and laughing and running on the spot, every time they came on... DD1 said they should make cuddly toy ones... Errrrr... who's JB?
Valkyrie
I wouldn't mind if some of my fat turned into those cute little blobs. I could make my own pets then! Good, funny episode to start with.

Ziggy
Oooooh... ok... I quite like him... Only watched Torchwood once... it was a horrendous episode about people in a tiny village butchering people and keeping all the body parts for meat... hated it... Are all the Torchwood episodes as disturbing as that one was??
missuscluck
Loved it. I want my fat bits to do that. Perhaps I could keep them with the chickens.
