hennymom
I would deffo buy "4 egg" and even better in green , they would look fantastic and so in keeping with "going green" gives a whole new sight to eco friendly. I have not had the pleasure in my girlies blessing me with any gifts of the oblate spheroid (egg shape to you lot) type as of yet..

WitchHazel
Thanks everyone for your replies. I sent Anne (at FoF) a link to this thread so she can see the interest and comments.
Lesley
Does this mean that FoF now offer a soft sage green egg box anyway? - the last lot I had, the green was quite a bright green. I'd prefer a softer green, it would go with my labels better........and the name of the farm, Willows Farm

In their email they said it had taken them some time to find a supplier they were happy with, so I don't think this will be their current green supplier. Why not email them and ask them? Guest
i would because i'm mean and don't want to have to give away 6 eggs every time. Mainly because our girls don't lay as much now. let me know when they're in stock, I'll buy some.
WitchHazel
Hi everyone Anne from FoF has been in touch. They've received their sample and are very happy with the quality but the colour is not very good. It's a lime-greeny/yellow colour, which they really don't like. They are now looking at a blue colour, and are just waiting for samples of that before they go ahead. I'll let you know if I hear any more news. The Dogmother
I'd certainly be interested too, let me know when they are online and I'll order some - my Omlet ones are nearly all used up and they tend to tear after a while too.
Chuckov
I'd be interested - with only 2 hens (one of whom isn't laying yet) it's a big thing to give away a whole weekful of eggs! I probably wouldn't want to buy more than 25 in one go though.
debbie26pet
count me in any colour i dont mind,
Shirl
I need them now! We're drowning in eggs and I can't give any away. I think I'll have to make lots of lemon curd and give that away too. Mind you the jars cost £4.99 for 12 and then I had to buy lids too so I'd want to get them back.
Ain't Nobody Here
I've just realised I'm down to my last Omlet eggbox . People just haven't been returning them . So, I'd be interested in buying some too! Any more news?
Keanie Bean
I could really do with some now, we get 4 eggs a day now which we just cant get through. The omlet egg boxes are tearing now. Sarah.x

WitchHazel
I'll email Anne and see where they are at. I know that they weren't happy with the colour that the green turned out, so they were going with a different colour. I'll get back to you as soon as I hear anything

Shirl
Yes I have an egg mountain. I can't give any away because people just don't return the boxes. Maybe I need to make a charge for the box
Fleur
i'd buy some, I don't have chickens yet, but i can give them to my mum they sound much more fun than 6-egg boxes.
WitchHazel
NEWS ABOUT EXPECTED DELIVERY! Have received a reply from Anne. They are expecting a delivery of BLUE 4-egg boxes next week and they will be putting them on their website the day they arrive. They should have been here this week but the Bank Hol caused delivery problems. Yay!
