Stevie
Earlier while Sage and Onion were rootling around the garden-a starling flew down to eat some of the corn i'd threw onto the lawn and they chased it away! I watched more starlings come down and every time they ran after them squawking their heads off & flapping madly. I know they're both feisty, but it was soooo funny to watch then running at full speed across the lawn and not acting like chickens!
alih
my 2 run at any birds who land innocently while they are patrolling the garden! Even now they are netted in a bit more they still give very hard stares to any bird that dares to come into their garden!

koo2cat
We had a pair of Mallard ducks land in our garden the other day. Our hens were in their run but were not impressed and I was thankful they couldn't get to the ducks although at least the ducks could fly off if the chickens charged!!!! nutcracker
Ours won't let any wild birds onto the ground in the garden, although they tolerate them on the bird feeders, as they drop seeds for them. Actually, they are almost as scarey with the poor cat.
Stevie
Nextdoors cat sits on the fence watching them, but they're like hunters and make that peculiar sound while flapping at it! The cat ends up running away! They're absolutely fine with my dog though and let him sniff their bottys!
Purplemaniacs
Yesterday and this morning I heard this racket from the garden when I looked out there was a cat in the garden, Ebony was certainly sounding the alarm. This afternoon the girls have been out in the garden for hours with us and our black labrador Poppy. For the first time we let Poppy off of the lead, the girls seemed to take no notice of her and like Stevie said Henny Penny did not mind if Poppy sniffed her. We also have an elderly cairn, he stayed in the house asleep, not sure what he would make of the girls if he was outside with them and off of the lead
Reikiranf
Lulu hates wood pidgeons with a vengeance and races up to them scaring them off, and yet she doesn't mind other birds She also hates a neighbours cat and does the same to him, he's terrified and can't get over the fence quick enough. Mimi & Yum Yum are too busy scratching around to care
