Guest
Everyones doing brilliantly! I'm still jogging along, I did't weigh in this week due to forgetfullness (it was freezing on the high street and I forgot to go back!) But I@m doing well still - I've even mastered a lift at pole dancing!!! (Check out the Nora Batty Legs!!!) http://twitpic.com/1a7ae

With skills like that you won't be single for long Well done Jillius on your weight loss, just remember not to put it all back on during your holiday. You've worked so hard for it. craftyhunnypie
I've lost another 3lb this week - that's 5lb in 2 weeks, doing weight watchers all on my own - no classes! I'm very pleased. 2 weeks until my hols. Emma.x

Rhapsody
Whoa steady on! BMI chart still has me firmly 'overweight' and I've been a bit lax with the points this week
moochoo
Well, another nice week for me. Lost 4.5lb this week. I'm feeling quite motivated as the new group are much closer to their goal than me. It's weird sitting in a weight loss group with a load of skinny women. At least I know that I can get there, eventually. I'm having a small crisis clothes wise. My OH's neice is having a surprise 21st on St. Valentine's day. I'd like to wear a nice red party frock but I'm struggling to find something that's nice, in my size (18) and cheap. I've scoured ebay and charity shops like crazy but to no avail. Anyone got any suggestions? I don't want to buy a brand new dress just to wear it once. craftyhunnypie
Debenhams had some good priced dresses & gorgeous too! Emma.x
Rhapsody
Good luck moochoo, I'm sure there's a gorge frock with your name on it. Just a thought could you ask in your group whether anyone has a size 18 they've slimmed out of? Amazingly I lost 3.5 lb this week, I'm under a stone to goal!!!!!! moochoo
Thanks for the tips guys. I did ask at my group but they've either sold or given away all their bigger clothes. I'll take a mooch around Debenhams, but I'm feeling really anti new clothes at the minute.
Guest
Dont' forget the charity shops MooChoo - some good formal wear etc in them at the moment. I've put on another 2 1/2 pounds since I last weighed a fortnight ago. In total I've put on 8lb since before Xmas (America was terrible) So starting tomorrow I'm on a strict regime to get it back off. I'm got a ligtherlife management bar for lunch and I'm not baking any cakes or biccies this weekend! If I don't shift 3lb this week then I'm going on abstinence for a fortnight. 8lb might not seem a lot but to me it looks like a slippery slope. moochoo
Good for you Pengy, that's how I think too. A few pounds could easily becaome a few stones for me. At least we have the option to go back to full or partial food packs if needs be. I have mooched around my local charity shops but couldn't find anything suitable. We're off to Stratford on Saturday so may well have a mooch around there.
The Dogmother
Sarah, the charity shops in Stratford are MUCH better
Jillus
I am off on my hols tomorrow and have lost 12.5lbs since January 1st. I exceeded my target and everything fits and my jeans no longer leaves track marks around my middle! Just hope the snow does not halt any flights! Lesley
I met up with Sarah Moochoo this morning - she looks amazing! I was worried that I wouldn't recognise her! - I did ........but she's half the woman I used to know.....in the nicest sense! Her OH is looking good as well - he's lost over 8 stone We had a bit of a mooch around the charity shops -I'll leave Sarah to tell you about that...... Sarah.........Lesley Sarah and her OH came back to the farm for a cup of coffee - we didn't dare unpack our shopping until they'd gone - even if it was it was mostly lovely vegetables . moochoo
I must thank you, Lesley for your hospitality. We've had a really lovely day. As Lesley said we had a good mooch around Stratford's charity shops. I've found a dress! It's not red as I'd planned but is a lovely Monsoon, jersey wrap dress which is chocolate brown with hot pink gerbera type flowers over it. Brand new, with it's tags on £15! Love it! I'm very pleased as it just fits beautifully. OH got a nice t shirt too, can't leave him out of the bargain hunting
The Dogmother
Blimey Sarah!!!!!!!! You skinny minnie!!!! So sorry to have missed you this time, but I will be at the next Stratford market. Those charity shops really are good, aren't they?
moochoo
Cheers Clare. We'll definitely come to the early March farmers' market so we'll see you there. I was very impressed with the charity shops. You get a better class of 'junk' down that way I'll definitely be mooching around them again. I must comment on how well Lesley's done with her weight loss. I've had lots of help but Lesley's lost nearly 2 stone through her own hard work and determination and looks really great on it too. craftyhunnypie
I've lost another 3lb. That's 8lb in 3 weeks. I'm so chuffed that I'll be getting on that plane at weekend over half a stone lighter ( easier for the plane to take off) My Per Una jeans that I bought just before I started this are now far too big & one of the dresses I was taking on holiday is too big on the boobs. Heck! I don't want them shrinking. Emma.x
moochoo
Well done Emma! It's a shame you have to shrink all over, isn't it? I'm sure you'll feel fantastic on holiday.
Rhapsody
@CHP- that's a goooooood feeling ain't it? Went to an Indonesian Restaurant with OH's family last night, planned it all in advance and managed to have a 2-course meal and a glass of wine for 10 points out of my daily 19. Really chuffed that I have learned so much and didn't diet at anyone, just ate two normal courses. I got loads of comments about my new silhouette- even my FIL was complimentary *faints* I know the last 10lb are going to be the hardest...
