I applied for another job this week, interviews are next week and although I havn't heard from them yet they called for references yesterday. The woman from my old school has also applied and they have called for her references too - interesting if we are the only 2 candidates!

Still no interview date - the advert said they would be next week. Now as both me and the other woman know they've called for references we should both get an interview. TBH I've never seen more than 4 applicants for any job in our sector either.
