I have another 2 job interviews

Recommended Posts

I don't know how it went again :? The answers I had prepared went well, but I really struggled to answer the questions they threw at me as haven't worked for the NHS or in clinical research so don't have experience and didn't really know. I know the computer stuff and it is a computer role. :?

I had issues with my tea as I took a fresh cup of tea in and barely touched it during the interview and didn't know if I should abandon the cup when she asked to collect it, or gulp down, and who to hand the cup to. Bad final impression dithering over tea. :( Who'd have though discussions on tea on the forum would be relevant

Yesterday I managed to trap my fingers in the front door on the way in, but luckily no-one saw

From being on the other side of the table unless it is a job where you have to have alot of confidence nerves are fine choccy

You are expected to be nervous in fact someone who isn't is odd :?

I am in the odd category because I love being interviewed - yeah I know weird

Just be yourself and remember they know very little about you and are trying to find out about you not catch you out

Sometimes they ask things which seem out of context but they may be trying to see how flexible you are as there may be chances to do other stuff not just what it says in the job description 8)

I'll have to see how these 2 jobs go. The difficult questions came under the "desirable" but not "essential" part of the job description.

I've taken careers service advice because I've not got the last 3 jobs because of how I came across in interview. They all seem to want technical skills e.g. writing/computers, but people skills/confidence as well. I can give examples of teamwork etc. in detail, but my ability to communicate well vanishes in interview. I have social anxiety. I was in tears this morning and could barely say a word despite being flawless last night when I practiced.

Nope, not got it after emailing to ask. :( They said they had trouble contacting me.

They wanted NHS experience and specific project management experience. Surprised they didn't get this from the application form (or my contact details :!: )

At least the interview was good they said

Interview 7 is on 4 June, but given up really.

oh Chocchick I know exactly how you feel. :(

Im so sorry you were unlucky. I've lost count the amount of interviews I've had over the last 5 months. I really dont understand what people are looking for these days.

I know its a cliche, but the right job will come along with your name on it. I got really down with all the rejection and now am starting an NVQ to add to my qualifications - so im starting that before I persue another interview.

Good luck to you. :D
