Helly Welly
I can't function until i've had a cupa of rooibos tea, naturally decaf. Can only drink decaf coffee as well. Since i decided to stop using caffeine i now go freaky if i have too much. I can just about get away with the odd latte, thank goodness. Cate in NZ
My darling hubby always used to make a cup of tea every morning for me to drink in bed whilst he showered and got ready for work . It was such a lovely way to wake up. These days I have to make my own Still can't start the day without a good hot cup of redbush (roobois) tea with a little bit of milk, followed by a cup of coffeee to really get me going when I arrive at work
Snowy
I'm another whose hubby makes me a brew first thing. He leaps out of bed at the crack of dawn while it takes me a good half an hour to wake up enough to poke a leg out from under the covers Lovely to have a cuppa by the bed to down before I venture further! Very strong tea for me with a hint of semi skimmed
The Dogmother
I'm an up and at 'em sort in the morning, Snowy - you'd hate me being all cheery and humming to myself Phil doesn't do mornings, he's like a cold lizard at that time of the day; needs to get up to working temperature. My worst experience was sharing a hotel room with a friend and colleague whilst at a conference, and she is just like that! I remember coming too at 5.30am and she was sat on the end of my bed talking ten to the dozen, planning our day and our pre breakfast swim I remember grunting 'Just get me a black coffee and then I'll talk'

Helly Welly
I HATE mornings! I sit on the sofa for a good hour before i'll even contemplate getting dressed, let alone anything else. chickencam
Mornings Yukk, at a weekend I eat my breakfast in bed and read the paper or my book and get dressed at about 9.30 - 10 if we have nowhere to go. I am first up all week at 7am so I like someone else to deliver my breakfast if possible, sometimes I get lucky

chocchick
I quite like mornings, but OH is near unconscious until lunchtime and thinks 8am is early I've normally had about 3 cups of tea by the time he crawls out of bed

Louise
No 8am is a luxury I never get This morning I was up at 4.30 in the car at 6.50 and at my desk - so to speak by 7.45 I hadn't intended bein up quite that early but the darned birds were twittering so loud they woke me but I would have been up at 5 any way I do drink tea in the morning usually 3 cups nice and strong with a dash of skimmed I'll get semi in if you ever visit Christian I never drink coffee gave it up due to insomnia about 2 years ago and it really helped and I don't drink normal tea after about 10am for the same reason but I love some herbal teas really into a Yogi tea with oriental spices and liquorice at the moment
