Keanie Bean
Oh I've just had one of those really bad days. It started at 8 this morning. My car failed its MOT £152 to fix it, mind you it could have been worse. I then had to take Daniel on the hot overcrowded bus to his hydrotherapy which was full of screaming brats. When I got home he developed a fever from his MMR a few days ago and is still in my arms now roasting nicely. A few hours later I've had to seperate the chickens, Lola is badly wounded and has a gash about an inch across from Dixie and Luna has a bleeding vent. Husband and I were out making Dixie a seperate house out of some wire and an old TV stand until 9.45. Then to top it all off the little girl from next door went missing. Two hours later the whole of the close was out looking for her. The dad eventually called the cops who foud her with one of her friends. She had apparently told the parents that her mum knew where she was, but my husband and I were almost in tears at the posibility that she had been taken. We are just so glad she has been found, but it had us really worried for a while. Sarah.x

Keanie Bean
Thanks, this morning things seem ok so far. We applied some Stockholm tar liberally to poor Lola chicken and the wound seems to have dried up somewhat. Dixie is clearly put out at having been seperated but she will have to put up with that. Daniel eventually went to sleep and is still there now, time will tell on all fronts, but for now all is quiet. Sarah.x

Keanie Bean
Thanks for all your kind words. Today has been much better. I have seperated chickens although I only have 2 eggs for today rather than the usual 4 . My mum has Emily, Mia is at school and Daniel is asleep upstairs as we speak, he had a mild temperature this morning but seems fine now. I'd rather not have immunised him but there are outbreaks of measles very close by so I cant be too careful. The consequesnes of the illness seem far worse than the risk of the immunisation and the poor little man has enough to deal with anyway.
