Steph101
My husband, who usually does landscape waterdcolours, has just finished a quick watercolour of our beloved George (see photobucket link below) - only took him half an hour! What do you think?
Snowy
It's lovely! How talented to be able to paint so well so quickly!

Steph101
Thank you - I'll show him these comments. He doesn't think he's any good, and says it's just my opinion. His efforts usually go straight in the bin, and I think they're brilliant. I think it's a shame.

redfrock
I think it is beautiful. He really seems to have captured the spirit of a chook. He needs to have more faith in himself! I can't even draw a squiggle
Ana's flock
I think it's really sweet. It has movement. I can almost hear it 'bok boking' or guess where she's going to peck next. The best thing is that your hubby did actually go and painted it. I have been meaning to sketch the chooks even since we got them over one year ago and still haven't got round to do it! I love painting but I'm awfully lazy when it comes to get the colours and brushes out. ...perhaps when I recover from this horrid cold and I'm up on my feet again... BeckyBoo
It's really good! I'd love to be able to paint animals, and to do it so quickly - sometimes that's half the battle, not overworking things. It's got a real "life" quality to it, how he can think it's no good I don't know. Really good! If he put it in a simple frame I KNOW he'd be able to sell it. Really nice, well done hubby Mrs Bertie
