Well here they are... These were taken on Sunday - the first day in their new home:

I really hope these photos aren't too big - I did select noticeboard, so sorry kate if they are too big

 

They are really settling in and seem very happy! It feels like they have been here forever, I'm so glad we got them!

How old are they? Mine were about 19 weeks old , & Pimlotts had another pen where the hens were 17 weeks old, so of you got yours from the 19 weeks old pen then Rosa & Gertrude will have been in there with yours until last Saturday

I think bluebelles are really beautiful.

Thinking about it I presume yours are 17 weeks old as I don't recall any black rocks being in the 19 week old pen

What great photos. Like everyone else, my favourite is the last one! They are all beautiful, but I am very partial to Bluebelles -- yours is darling. I do hope I can get hold of one when I go to the farm in late June.

I loved the pink pegs too - but they just weren't heavy duty enough for the wind/rain we have had I had to replace them with small silver bulldog type clips!

 

They are all 17 weeks old Jules - it's funny to think they were next to each other in pens last week Saying that Mabel does seem more developed than the others, but maybe she is just maturing quicker She is the boss for sure, but in an assertive not aggressive way! She is very confident.

 

I think Bluebelles are lovely too, and I really wanted one - but I love all my girls equally, they are all beautiful and such characters! Rosie is very funny but very sweet natured and Betty is very quiet and placid.

Georgeous girls we also have a Bluebelle, a Black rock, a Warren and an Amber star, and have matured into great looking girls, Ebony the youngest (Black rock ) is just 21 wks and has started laying already. She has a lovely nature and loves sitting on my knee being stroked.

Bluebelles get quite big, ours is enormous and very heavy

I'm a typical girly girl!

 

I've decided to reinstate the pink pegs for display purposes only! They add a bit of decoration, not like the boring silver bulldog clips that actually do the job they're supposed to!

Yes, Betty is big too, I think she may be the size of foghorn leghorn if we are not careful and her feet are enormous!
