Ain't Nobody Here

My hens are noisy? I don't care!

Recommended Posts

I'm so glad I live in the middle of no where now! When I lived in a terrace when our neighbour's mobile rang it was louder than when our's rang next to us!!

And there were 6 of them plus a dog it was a nightmare they were all very loud!!

I sound so old but it's nice to have a bit of peace and quiet! and my parent's would never have let me make a racket like that!

next door obviously keep pigs ... it's just unfortunate that when that one was having its throat cut it made such a hideous noise!!!

Fabulous comment :lol::lol::lol:

Reminds me of a couple of years ago when next door's kids got a kareoke machine for Christmas - what a racket! Thankfully they've grown up a bit now!

Hey. Personally I think its nice to hear a child outside singing cheerfully if a little out of tune but she sounds fairly young and not many children that age can hold a tune well. Better than her being inside playing on the playstation.

edited -spelling was worse than normal

That's so funny!

I have an elderly neighbour two doors down and she sings (nothing you could ever put a name to). But she's got a really deep voice. Scares the living daylights out of my ES. Sounds a bit like a dalek. I quite like hearing her, she always seems happy. :D

I agree Chelsea - someone cloned Bonnie Langford!

Just think ANT - you heard it first free of charge - give it another 15 or so years and kids will be flocking to her concert! Perhaps they will move soon to a house with a recording studio. There's one in Sunningdale!

I just can't abide that type of singing I'm afraid  . OK, it didn't annoy me too much although it was VERY loud and right beside my back door. It did go on for about 10 minutes and I'd had enough by the end of it. We all just went  when we heard it (through the double glazing :? ).

It probably would've bugged me less if she wasn't a precocious little so and so  .

Bonnie Langford sprung to mind when I heard it too. "I'll squeam and squeam and squeam until I'm thick!". DD age 4 is always making up songs, although in her defence they always rhyme and she doesn't sing them that loud!

Even DD is nowhere near as bad a a child who lived a few doors down that we nicknamed "the screamer" - I don't do high-pitched, whether it's my own kids or anyone else's!

I have every sympathy for you. My son sings in the church choir and is trained to sing high, he's only 8. His singing drives me mad . . . .

As for hen singing, well that sounds just like Hilda who only wants to lay an egg when someone else is in the nest box. Then the singing starts!!!
