In case you aren't already aware, we have an *Omlet Large Egg Leader Board* for eggs over 100g and also an *Omlet Small Egg Leader Board* for eggs less than 50g (it used to be for bantams only but is now open to all hens!).

 

The record is currently held by Egluntine at 140g ( ) and jointly by AJuff and Chocchick at 12g.

 

Can you beat them ?

our smallest egg was 20grams when Aries 1st started laying it was sooooo tiny and cute we have blown all 6 of our girls first eggs to paint and keep as a momento

all our eggs are under 50g's near enough!, except the double yolker and a 52g one we had.

Oh dear, Loopylou . You'll just have to look out for extra tiny ones to put on the Board .

Well I would join in, but I don't have electronic scales, so can't weigh them.

Not really small, but under 50g - Nutmeg who laid the 101g Monday - I thought she would probably have a day off Tuesday, but we got a 47g egg yesterday - hers are normally around 63g most days - I await todays offering!

the biggest I have had so far is 90g and that looked enormous!!

 

Can't imagine a 140g egg, did it have a really thick dense shell? or three yolks? It was laid by a chicken I take it and not an ostrich masquerading as a hen!!

Helga laid a 110g double yolker on Christmas Day, and boy did she make a din!!

There is a link to a spreadsheet isn't there somewhere. I would like to keep a record. I can do exel but would be nice to see what to put on it.
