Mel (& Paul)

Unique moment in time

Recommended Posts

This will never happen again in recorded history.

I think Mel meant "living history", as it would have happened in the year 1006, (if they had digital clocks they would have known this) and will again in 3006!

I'm not planning on seeing it this time either.....:lol:

Spoil sport! :P I liked the idea of once in a lifetime! But OH pointed out the same thing - in fact all time/dates are unique if taken to the precise year ... you rotters!! I'll pretend I never read your post or listened to the OH so I can join Mel in enjoying a "unique" moment :wink:

I was thinking of you! (and possibly Sheila..........)
:lol: Thanks for thinking of me, Mel, you know me so well! Yes, I might be awake.

But, also, I'm in that weird family where my sons will text each other, or even me, to say look at the clock! It will be just coming up to 11:11 or some such time. Makes my day!

So, I'll be awake, witnessing that historic moment.

Will also tell both sons your one on Thursday, thank you Heather. 8)

Surely it would be every hundred years? 2006, 2106, 2206, 2306.... etc?

This month, on Thursday 4th May, at two minutes and three seconds after

1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

This will never happen again in recorded history.

No doubt you will stay awake so that you do not miss this unique moment

I do like this sort of thing. I would like to mark the occasion! :D

When it was 7/7/77, quite a few of the girls in my class at school decided to meet up on the 8/8/88 at 8 minutes past 8 in our home town. It stayed in my mind for 11 long years, but as I was dubious as to whether anyone would go and lived quite a distance away, I didn't go myself, but several others did!! :D Friendships were rekindled and after I moved back to my home town later in 1988, I joined in with the group. Since then, there are now seven of us who first met at secondary school nearly 32  years ago who meet up every 4-5 weeks at each others houses for yummy food, plenty of wine and lots of chat. :D

Do other people get a bizarre satisfaction from seeing interesting times  I sometimes notice times where the seconds and minutes add up to the same number, like 9

e.g. 18:27

I will probably be asleep at 1 in the morning
