Guest
I drove home tonight - about 10:20pm - I drove about a mile through built-up edge-of-London suburbia and saw three foxes out and about on the pavements... Phil
melcotton
Now we have moved out into a more rural setting we see far less foxes than we did in the city - mad isn't it.
Cinnamon
Now we have moved out into a more rural setting we see far less foxes than we did in the city - mad isn't it. Same here. We have lived in a small village, with our garden surrounded by woodlands for 15 years now & I have seen a fox 3 times A friend who lives in a nearby town is plagued by them
Aunty e
I live in Zone 1 and I could name most of our foxes if I had any urge to. We have two big males, two younger males and a couple of big females. I expect to see cubs any day now, as they came out pretty early last year. We also have a few vagrants who I don't recognise, who must come in from the estate over the road. When I lived in the country I NEVER saw foxes. Ever.
AnnieP
I have just watched a fox in OUR PADDOCKS!!! Its fate telling me what a silly girl I was for saying about how there aren't so many in the country! Have just moved the girls onto the corner of the yard where we can see them from the house.....

The Dogmother
I hope they're safe Annie. We have night time foxes sometimes here, and I live in the centre of Banbury. The girls are always locked up well before dark. I think they're more at risk from the neighbour's ferrets, which keep escaping They are really tame, and I like ferrets, but I am worried that they will like my chooks. Goodness only knows why they can't be kept securely
