eeyoreshunny Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 this is the choc biscuit recipe i use from bero 25 g (8 oz) Be-Ro Self Raising Flour 100 g (4 oz) caster sugar 3 x 15 ml (3 tbsp) cocoa powder, sieved 100 g (4 oz) margarine 5 x 15 ml spoon (5 tbsp) milk few drops vanilla essence Chocolate Glacé Icing grated chocolate 1) Heat oven to 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas Mark 5. Grease two baking trays. 2) Mix flour, sugar and cocoa in a bowl and rub in the margarine. 3) Add the milk and essence and mix in well. Bring together with your hands and knead lightly on a floured surface. 4) Roll out to 0.5 cm (¼ inch) thick and cut into rounds(or CHICKENS) using a 7.5 cm (3 inch) cutter. Place on the baking trays and bake for about 8-10 minutes. Remove from baking tray and cool on a wire rack. Decorate with Glacé Icing and chocolate.
