Cate in NZ Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 I've not really liked my username (Afamily) for sometime, I kind of acquired it by accident, imagining that other members of my family might be interested in the forum and share my account. However that never happened, indeed the rest of the family all seem to think I'm quite mad spending so much time on the forum , suits me to be honest So my change of location seemed to be a great excuse to change my name......hence I'm now Kate in NZ, but it's still just me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And I am so jealous of you living in Rotorua (despite the sulphur smell) because of the "Save the Kiwi Trust" (can't remember it's real name) being there. I loved going round looking at the just-hatched kiwi chicks and seeing the older ones in their night-time compound. Such a good job they are doing there. Oh and one other thing - if you haven't been already, check out Kerosene Creek. It's fabulous first thing in the morning, with the mist rising off the naturally hot water.
