Cinnamon
Has anyone else seen this? Its on Sky Arts on Tuesday at 8ish, & is about the amazing street art of Julian Beever. He does the most amazing 3D pictures in chalk,on sidewalks, & its about how the picture developes, how he gets the 3D effect,& what happens when it rains I am not necessarily an 'arty' type, but its totally fascinating

MedusA
WOW! Those are brilliant. What a shame they will not be saved for posterity.

jackiepoppies
Absolutely superb Never seen his work before, but wish I had. How can this be preserved for posterity? Jackiex
Cate in NZ
I've seen his examples of his work before and it's stunning. What amazes me is the effort put into something that by it's very definition must be transient
Cinnamon
Absolutely superb Never seen his work before, but wish I had. How can this be preserved for posterity? Jackiex Sadly, only by photographing it. He actually takes several days on each picture, covering it up with tarps & leaving it overnight - brave man! pepe
Fantastic! Going to try and remember to watch, wonder if you feel like you are going to fall in when you walk by Someone sent me an email with similar art, but on a ceiling, it was a smoking area and when you looked up, it looked like an open graveside and people were looking down on you six feet under
