ha ha serves them right but of course not their creditors. Lets hope that they will have to sell their house quick to pay everybody back!

 

 

Why don't you set the eglu up at the weekend just to annoy them. Let them get them get themselves all worked up wondering when the chickens will be arriving. Like the saying goes, " anticipation is worst than death itself"

Whilst they drove you mad and you had to rehome their chickens I think losing their business is really sad, if they lose their home that will be awful no matter what they have done to you

 

If their car got scratched or their water pipe burst I would call that karma but their situation is an awful place to be in with the financial outlook so bleak and much as I love my chickens I dont think losing chickens can compare sorry

Redwing no need to apologise you are right, I am sure if all of us really sat down and took it all seriously & thought about it, we would agree is not very nice to lose your source of income.

 

I am sure that I speak for everybody here that we do not really wish for them to lose their home but for Lynn and her husband to be able to keep chickens without having them making it difficult to do so.

 

I would still set the eglu up though but I guess it would be the least of their worries.

 

though if they complain about cats and chickens I can imagine them to be very difficult people to deal with and what goes around comes around, and fate has decided this for them.

Shame they lost their business - I don't think so, let's hope they lose their house next. Some people just want things all their own way and think they can dictate to people how to live their lives. Karma's a wonderful thing.

Amber's in with the big girls though, so maybe she's not considered a bantam anymore...she certainly didn't seem to think herself small

Redwing I totally agree, I wouldn't want them to lose their home and I would hate you to think I am not sympathetic to someone losing their business and income (albeit this is their fourth business to go under in five years). Nick and I have had to endure three years of constant heartache from them. We have had tomatoes and stones thrown at our windows, music played in their garden until 3/4am at weekends, objects thrown at our cats with intent to harm them, the list goes on; it wasn't just the chickens, it was a culmination of events which made me write as I did. I'm sorry if you felt I was too harsh.

 

However, I can honestly say that despite what has happened Nick and I would be the first to offer them help if they needed it - I could have kept their protein levels up with eggs if they'd only let us keep the girls....!

I'm afraid although I do sympathise with their losing their income they do sound particular horrible people if I'm being brutally honest... I'm amazed you haven't taken legal action against their behaviour as harassment!
