Milly
I just saw the question about the timer - ours is very loud and it took us some time to get the knack of switching it off. We would think it was off then it would start up again, even when the power was off I haven't tried roast veg yet, but have some courgettes so will try tomorrow. Louise
One *ahem* fell into my trolley in costco on Friday They were £96 there so just cheaper than Amazon I had just gone to price compare but couldn't resist I wish I had when I got home and saw my gas and elec bill but thats another story I made chips on Friday which were nice not as crispy as I would have liked but better than either oven chips or trailing into Gala to buy a bag I made a stir fry on Saturday after adapting one of the recipes in the book It took no longer to cook than the hob to be honest and I didn't have to stand over it I bought some sausages to try out as well this week I agree about the pathetic noise the timer makes especially as the unit running is quite loud There is a questionairre in the one I have asking for feedback I will send it in and say the timer needs to be louder
Egluntyne
I'd stay clear of Costco if I were you! Isn't that where you got your Roomba?

Louise
I made some wedges last night with the small potatoes that were in my last bag I just quartered them and put them in for 30 minutes as a trial and it worked they were very nice Might try cooking sausages tonight
Egluntyne
Might try cooking sausages tonight It does them perfectly. Nice and brown on the outside, moist and succulent on the inside, and yet properly cooked. My menfolk actually commented that they were impressed.....which believe me is quite something. Cinnamon
I must say that I am itching to try it out,but I plan a weeks meals in advance so won't get to give it a go until next week at the earliest. It won’t fit in my normal kitchen cupboards though,so I may have to hoik everything out of one of the corner units later – don’t like gadgets all over the work top

Cinnamon
Right then - I am using mine tonight to do some chips. Never made home made chips before,so anyone got any chip tips for me? I am also going to try frying some green beans. I have a copycat recipe from TGI Fridays, where they used to do these amazing fried green beans in a spicy coating
