Guest
OMG, that made me cry! Reminds me of another video I saw of a lion hugging a human thru the bars of his cage because she'd nursed him back to health. They're beautiful creatures and it's horrible to think of them caged. Good on them for rescuing him and having the strength to return him to the wild.

Janty
I'm off! However, I can't watch Born Free, Day of the dolphin (awful seventies film with talking dolphins), any of the Land before time films, Bambi, Watership Down and a whole host of other films without blubbering. MedusA
I'm off! However, I can't watch Born Free, Day of the dolphin (awful seventies film with talking dolphins), any of the Land before time films, Bambi, Watership Down and a whole host of other films without blubbering. Me too Janty. The original "Incredible Journey" is one that does it to me every time. When Bodger comes running down the hill, I crumble. Phonix
Janty ive just googled it and it was made in 1973 and the tagline for it on the website I found is: "Unwittingly He Trained a Dolphin to Kill the President of the United States" sounds v. bizarre

MedusA
Does anybody else remember Day of the Dolphin? Hubby doesn't and reckons that it's a figment of my imagination. Was that the one with George C Scott and the talking dolphin "Pha loves Pa"? I remember that one from years ago. I think I only ever saw it once. It made me blub big time!
