chickencam Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Like Lisa33 I also have a sore head Yesterday I was jumping back into the car after returning our 'cancelled' Sunday paper to the newsagents when my forehead made hard contact with the very pointed top corner of the door We were on our way to town for some retail therapy on a dull day, OH asked me if I was ok and I said yes then a few yards down the road started blubbing It really shocked me and the children because I don't do tears apart from at sad films At this point OH decided that this combined with the large lump that had appeared with cartoon speed and the blood seeping down my face that I was anything but ok and took me home. I was patched up with a large ice pack and a few good hugs then continued with my day but I felt a bit wiped out for the rest of the day, shock is a weird thing. The ice pack did it's magic and although I have a lump with a cut in the middle that my long fringe can be arranged over there is very little bruising and I have learnt not to get into cars too quickly from now on I will be seeing my Mum on Sunday and OH says that he is glad that he has 3 witnesses to say that the damage was self inflicted, they say he will have to be nice to them otherwise they will change their story Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
