Snowy
Thought I'd share this with you! Took two small boys shopping yesterday - usually try to avoid this but a back to school haircut was needed so I grit my teeth and got on with it. Whilst in the hairdressers smallest boy mentioned a couple of times that his pants were falling down. Now I know they are not a snug fit, but they were not round his ankles and he was getting fidgetty with the waiting so I just told him to pull them up and not to worry. After the hairdressers we went into the co-op haberdashery department. Whilst at the till, he mentioned again that his pants were falling down. So I double checked - only to find that his trouser pockets were full of die cast metal trains!! I patted him down and removed 6 trains - oh the joy of cargo pants with all those pockets! It wouldn't have happened to a normal pair of trousers. The girl behind the till was trying unsuccessfully not to laugh. No wonder the poor boys pants were falling down

Looney
Hilarious Snowy Clever lad, you never know when you might need a toy train! Can I also admit to having had this problem A few weeks ago on a sunny day I thought to myself, why lug a handbag about on my walk when I have all these lovely pockets to put stuff in...well, lets just say the term 'low-slung' trousers was highly appropriate Thank goodness I'd put some sensible apple-catcher undies on and not anything skimpy OH thought it highly amusing and accused me of trying to be a rudie, just needed a BMX apparently I'd left my hoodie at home mind you! mrsallen08
Thats hilarious! Thank you for sharing both your stories! My younger brother likes these trousers best as he seems to acquire many things from nursery in these small yet suprisingly spacious pockets! hillfamily
Oh that's so funny Snowy Bless him, no wonder his trousers kept falling down 6 metal trains do weigh a lot. I remember when DS was little and he always had to take all his metal Thomas the Tank Engine trains with him wherever he went very, very heavy
theherd123
Just think about what a great storage device cargo pants are No need to visit IKEA ever again, just hang up a pair and stuff them full of all kinds of junk!

Mutrix Farmers
Bless him! Son does the same thing and he's 14 (not toy trains now but keys, mobile, screwdriver (don't ask, it's for emergencies apparently), sweets, bottle of drink) I keep telling he needs a man-bag but he's not convinced
