Morag - who are you? You seem to know a lot about CofE rules and I am intrigued! Or just nosey!?

 

If you'd like to know who I am first, I am a Director of Music in an Anglican church and my husband is the organist. I have worked for the church in this way for 21 years.

Time to come clean. I am a vicar in the Cof E, not too far away from Phil. When I was training I was in a church just along the road from him. We met again recently through our chickens!

(in fact - this is one of the very few discussions of baptism I've been involved in where somebody didn't storm off in a huff - "Ooops, word censored!"ody seems to

have been upset yet - which is remarkable!!)

Hi, I've really enjoyed reading this thread & was going to say how well informed you are Morag , then saw Ginette's question & answer.

I hoped we'd abandoned the very boring subject of the topic title.

But, may I just say......what a thug & an idiot. I've never thought we should idolise footballers (do not worship false idols) and in Rooney's case especially. Now he's proved it. What a P***
