.. dream about chickens? having gone to bed in a frenzy of excitement last night after ordering my cube I woke up this morning having had a really complicated but lovely dream about getting 4 new chickens - but in my childhood garden with my Kilimanjaro walking guide putting the run together for them! Had just named one of them Priscilla when I woke up. Didn't dare tell my husband who already thinks I am obsessed...please tell me i am not alone?!

Funnily enough had very bizarre dream about my girls last night. Can't remember the details ( you will be relieved to hear) but it was something about them hibernating!

During the floods, & whenever we have bad rain, I dream that the chickens are drowning in their run

Its horrible, but I seem to have reccuring dreams about high,fast,deep,dark water, & I guess the chickens have got into my head too

I had a wierd dream about mine the other night. I dreamt that someone had come into the garden and taken off the corrugated plastic sheeting and it was blowing around the garden in the rain and the girls had somehow escaped because of this. I was running around the garden tring to get it back in place and attached by the bungee cords and in a panic about where the chickens were. One of those dreams that make your heart pound when you wake up

I'm sorry to say the dreams don't stop when the chickens arrive either - maybe Omlet should deliver the nice long-sleeved jackets with every eglu/cube they sell

 

Most of my hen-related dreams are very pleasant though

Recently I dreamed I was taking one of my girls on a lead as we were in a sniffer-dog team (or in this case sniffer-chicken).

 

DD dreamed that Muggle the Silkie was wearing a bright green tailored jacket.
