Hi Guys,

 

hope you like the latest newsletter, I just wanted to say it would be great if you could send in any old egg cups you have - the stranger the better - to get the egg cup museum off the ground.

 

Does anyone have any that they can send?

Oh what a shame - my auntie had an egg cup collection - but now gone I'm afraid. We also love our egg cups too much (especially the VW camper and the dalek) to let them go.

We have a fair size collection from over the ages.. I see if we can part with some although I'm not sure about the really old ones.. will see what I can do!

Now look, I really think that we ought to approach this in the spirit of joining all the egg cups into one enormous collection. Individually they are good but together we can make them great.

Can't send you any old ones I'm afraid, all the ones that I own are relatively new and in frequent use, I had a major clear out of old, mis-matched or damaged crockery, including egg cups , before we moved. But if you'd like an egg cup from down under to start an overseas collection within your "museum" I can happily oblige

Mine is on it's way, it came from South Africa and is too large to hold a normal egg maybe it was made to hold an ostrich egg........

Just as an amusing aside...... Him Indoors refuses to use the inflatable Omlet egg cup.

 

He calls it the Whoopee Cushion for hens.

Just bumping this up wondering if anyone has sent any more egg cups to the museum, or recieved their egg cups?

 

I sent an egg cup from Spain a few weeks ago, so I'm hoping to get on Omlet one soon
